What an Animal Challenge III

Last year, I participated in the What An Animal II Challenge which was hosted by Passion for the Page . This year, the What An Animal III Challenge is being hosted over at Socrates’ Book Reviews.

Dates: March 1, 2010 to February 28, 2011

Goal: Read at least 6 books that have any of the following requirements:

a. there is an animal in the title of the book
b. there is an animal on the cover of the book
c. an animal plays a major role in the book
d. a main character is (or turns into) an animal (define that however you’d like).

  1. The Day of the Pelican, by Katherine Paterson, 160 pages, June 2010 (animal in title)
  2. A Dog’s Purpose, by W. Bruce Cameron, 319 pages July 26 (main character is animal)
  3. Everything for a Dog, by Ann M. Martin, 211 pages, October 10, 2010
