Pass the tissues.

Ugggh! I caught the cold that is going through my classroom. Coughing, sneezing, slight fever. I am determined to get rid of it by the read-a-thon. I have Thursday and Friday off from school this week. That should give me plenty of time to rest up.

  1. Nan, I hope you feel better! There have been some nasty viruses circulating through the classes this year. Get plenty of rest πŸ™‚

  2. Oh no! I’ve heard of sevearl people getting sick right about now. I hope you recover by the weekend. Or at least lots of hot soup with you as you read!

  3. Yuck! I would think you might be immune to stuff like that now if you’ve been teaching for awhile. Get well so you can enjoy the Read-A-Thon!

  4. Christina – We have had so many kids out with fever and a bad cough. We never have this many kids out, especially this time of year. I’m ready for another 12 hours of sleep and then we’ll see how I am. I’m thinking I”ll be ready tomorrow to participate a bit. πŸ™‚

Amanda – I think my body is now 60% vegetable soup! I did feel a bit better today and stayed up for a few hours even. Now I”m exhausted… but I’m hoping a good night’s rest will make me ready for tomorrow. πŸ™‚

Jenners – I think this year there is just so much sickness, it’s hard for the immune system to keep fighting it off. I’m so bummed that I got sick because I’ve actually tried to take care of myself this year. I’m hoping to be ready to participate tomorrow. πŸ™‚
